 Hogan's Junior Golf Heroes/The First Tee Omaha is honored to have the opportunity to introduce our positive youth development programs to children of those serving in our Armed Forces around the World. Mr. Mike Rice Executive Director of The First Tee Omaha believes "The First Tee Omaha will be teaching the children of military personnel Life Skills training based on our Core Values, such as honesty and respect, as well as skills such as managing emotions, goal setting, interpersonal communication and effective conflict resolution. The program goes far beyond teaching fundamental golf skills."
Certified coaches and staff from The First Tee Omaha Chapter will work with Offutt Air Force Base to delivery this wonderful program to eligible youth ages 5 through 18. We are creating a fun and safe learning environment that fosters curiosity about the game of golf, as well as, provide links between golf skills and how the positive values of the game can be used at home, in school and in other areas of everyday life.
Parent orientation will take place November 20, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. at the Youth Service Center. If you would like to get your child involved at Offutt Air Force Base, or in our Regular Summer, Spring and Fall programs please call 444-5396
