dadspilotprogram2015-1The First Tee of Omaha partners with YMCA and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center to promote healthy habits!

The First Tee of Omaha recently partnered with the YMCA and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.  The Healthy Eating with Resources, Options and Everyday Strategies (HEROES) program is a medical-directed, multi-disciplinary program designed to address childhood obesity.  When on-site at one of The First Tee of Omaha golf course programming sites, youth participating in the HEROES program were introduced to the game of golf and the Nine Healthy Habits emphasized in the Golf and Life Skills curriculum.  An active lifestyle was encouraged through these programming efforts!
